TEACHER ONLY DAY - FRIDAY 31 MAY: This is the Friday of Queens Birthday weekend, with the following Monday a public holiday. Teachers will be at school on 31 May taking part in professional development, mainly around e learning and cybersafety. This day the school is closed is being made up at the end of the year.
There is one further teacher only day planned this year - possibly on Friday 30 August.
BOT ELECTIONS BOT ELECTIONS BOT ELECTIONS:
When nominations closed at midday Thursday 16 May, eight nominations had been received for the five vacant parent rep positions. Voting papers have been mailed out to all parents, with an envelope for votes to be returned in. Voting will close at midday on Thursday 30 May. The eight nominees for the BOT are:

Each Thursday morning our senior students travel to Rangitikei College for 90 minute sessions on one of woodwork, cooking, science and music.

1st X1 cricket captain Henry Kilmister caught in classic pose here as he prepares to attack during his innings of 24 not out against Wanganui West over the weekend just gone. Hunterville won their playoff game to finish in 3rd place in the five team competition.
Four of the other five teams were made up of between two and six schools combining to form a team, and all other teams had considerably more students in their schools than do we - so, a great effort boys!
