George Lambert Wins Wanganui Cross Country Title
Year 6 GEORGE LAMBERT student took out the Wanganui interschool cross country event for 10 Year old boys at Aranui School yesterday. This is the premier cross country event for this age group in our region and to win it is a magnificent achievement. Well done, George!

Our school Year 5/6 Rippa Rugby team met the All Blacks during their national tournament in Wellington over the past three days! We played seven games for two wins and five losses. We were up by two tries at one stage against Canterbury but ended up losing 8 - 4 ... and Canterbury went on the make the final against Counties Manukau, who we also had to play. Our two wins were against Wairarapa - Bush and Taranaki, with our other losses being to South Canterbury (7-5) and Poverty Bay (9-6).
