Grandparents Day - All in for the Chicken Dance!

Grandparents did their grandchildren proud by turning out in force for the biennial Grandparents' Day today. Around 100 grandparents took part in this major event on the school's calendar which began with a dance demonstration (and guests joining in at the end as pictured here!) and then went on to visits to classrooms, and finished with afternoon tea in the hall provided by parents and served by staff and senior students.

George Lambert Wins Wanganui Cross Country Title

Year 6 student GEORGE LAMBERT took out the Wanganui interschool cross country event for 10 Year old boys at Aranui School yesterday. This is the premier cross country event for this age group in our region and to win it is a magnificent achievement. Well done, George!
